CHLD 2003 Instruction Session In-Person
Hello Emily!
Thank you so much! This sounds perfect. Yes, the format that Megan used before worked perfectly! If we could have a presentation of 30 minutes or so, and then maybe 30 minutes for the students to explore the materials in the library for a total of an hour, that would be great! Let me know if you need any other information. Thank you again for being so supportive of the child development program!
Sincerely,

Hello Debbie that sounds great!
These times and dates will work for us, I’ll enter them into the classroom calendar and you will get a confirmation. Megan left us notes and resources for her Child Development presentations, so our new Librarian Liz should be able to jump in and take these on! She also has a background of working with elementary and school age students and educators, so I think this will a seamless transition for her!
I do have a couple of questions to help us prepare and make sure we meet all of your needs. I know Megan used to start in the classroom with a brief intro to the library website and online resources, and then take students into the library for a tour highlighting the Storytime Lab and Mind in the Making resources. Is this still the format you would like us to follow? How much time would you like Liz to plan for?
Thank you, we look forward to working with you and getting Liz started as the Child Development liaison!

Hello Emily,
Happy New Year! I hope all is well with you! I wanted to see about the availability to bring two of my classes to the Library. I would love for my students to get a good overview of the Child Dev resources available in the library, as well as a quick tutorial of the online resources.
One is a day class, but one is a night class and I am not sure what options are available for the evening class.
Ideally, I would like to bring them on the following dates.
CHLD 2003 401 February 5th 9:30 (20 students)
CHLD 2003 402 January 30th 6:00 (20 students)
Thanks for your help with this!
Sincerely,
