ENGL 1113 - Comp I In-Person
My students are using their service-learning experiences to conduct problems-based inquiries about college students and food insecurities. Their research paper (due Nov. 16th) needs to be a potential solution to an observed problem and needs to contain at least 3 scholarly sources. I'm hoping that in addition to a general library overview, this workshop could talk about popular v. scholarly sources and that students could have at least 10 minutes to practice using the catalogue and databases for scholarly sources. They will receive 10 points for printing out the name of at least one scholarly source they could use in their final paper.
